Des Mots du Monde

It started as a way to share stories about moving to Paris with family members. Now, after spending 12 months in the city of light, unexpectedly moving to Barcelona, returning home and shipping off to NYC, Des Mots du Monde has become a collection of stories about inhabiting new places. It is part survival guide about homesickness and culture shock, part sounding board for this writer disguised as a babysitter, a copywriter and most recently a Manhattan tech worker. With stories touching on postgrad lifethe au pair experience and living in Paris in the wake of the Nov. 13 attacks, the blog has attracted readers from 35 different countries.
